Pre-Dental Hygiene - Pre-Professional Option

Students entering college directly from high school and others wishing to prepare for possible admission to the Dental Hygiene Program may be given the option to enroll as a full-time student in the Pre-Dental Hygiene Program. This will enable them to complete the prerequisites for consideration for admission to, and selected general education courses in, the Dental Hygiene Program.
Policies, Conditions and/or Fees
Students who complete the fall semester with a CGPA of 2.75 or higher and with a B or higher in both SC 101 and BI 140 remain eligible for consideration for the next fall class. Of these, students who maintain a CGPA of 2.75 or higher and grades of B or higher in SC 102 and BI 141 in the spring semester will be eligible for consideration for the eight (8) seats that are reserved for students with the highest CGPA who have successfully completed the Pre-Dental Hygiene curriculum.
