A minor comprises a sequence of courses that focus on a particular area of study different from, and secondary to, the major. The Curriculum Committee requires that minors include 18-21 credits of required and elective courses that collectively provide coverage of, and understanding in,the subject area.
Students must complete six courses (18 credits) for the Legal Studies Minor. A minimum grade of C- or higher is required in program-specific courses (courses with the designation of LG) in this minor.
Note: Any course selected for a minor cannot be required for the student’s major. In the event of duplication, the student must select an appropriate substitution for the same by completing a Curriculum Petition to Waive or Substitute a Requirement in consultation with a faculty member who teaches in the minor and the director of the school offering the minor.
